Poly Dojo Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 2026
By enrolling in or using Poly Dojo courses, services, community spaces, or materials, you agree to the following terms.
1. Educational Purpose
Poly Dojo provides educational instruction, mentorship, critique, course materials, and community access related to 3D art, character creation, professional development, and related creative topics.
Enrollment does not guarantee employment, portfolio acceptance, professional placement, income, or a specific artistic outcome.
2. Course Access
Course access is provided to the enrolled student only unless otherwise stated.
Students may not share, reproduce, redistribute, resell, upload, publish, or commercially distribute Poly Dojo course materials, recordings, presentations, resources, or instructional content without written permission.
Founding cohort students may retain access to the course materials made available to them as stated at enrollment.
3. Live Sessions and Mentorship
Live session dates and times will be communicated in advance. Reasonable schedule adjustments may occasionally be necessary.
Students are responsible for attending scheduled sessions and completing any recommended practice or preparation.
Missed sessions do not automatically qualify for refunds or make-up sessions unless otherwise arranged.
4. Community Conduct
Students are expected to communicate respectfully and constructively.
Harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior, deliberate disruption, unauthorized sharing of another student's work, or other behavior that significantly interferes with the learning environment may result in removal from the community or course.
5. Student Artwork
Students retain ownership of the artwork they create.
Poly Dojo will not publicly use a student's artwork, testimonial, name, or likeness for marketing purposes without permission.
Students may not distribute another student's artwork or feedback outside the Poly Dojo community without that student's permission.
6. Technology
Students are responsible for having suitable computer hardware, software, internet access, and accounts needed to participate.
Poly Dojo cannot guarantee compatibility with every hardware or software configuration.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Poly Dojo Refund Policy.
8. Changes to the Program
Because Poly Dojo is an evolving educational program, curriculum, resources, delivery methods, and course features may be updated or improved over time.
Any substantial change affecting an active cohort will be communicated to enrolled students.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Poly Dojo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the program, including loss of employment opportunities, income, files, or data.
Students are responsible for maintaining backups of their own work.
10. Acceptance
By enrolling in Poly Dojo, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
Poly Dojo Refund Policy
Effective Date: September 2026
I want students to feel confident enrolling in Poly Dojo.
14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are unsatisfied with the course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the official course start date.
For example, if a cohort begins on September 12, refund requests must be submitted no later than September 26.
Approved refunds will include the course tuition paid for that enrollment.
After the 14-Day Period
After the 14-day refund period has passed, course payments are generally non-refundable.
Exceptions may be considered in unusual circumstances at Poly Dojo's discretion.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact Poly Dojo using the email or contact method provided with your enrollment and include:
- Your name
- The course or cohort you enrolled in
- Your request for a refund
You do not need to provide a detailed explanation for a refund requested within the 14-day satisfaction period.
Access After Refund
Once a refund is issued, access to paid course materials, private cohort spaces, mentorship, and related benefits may be removed.
Course Cancellation
If Poly Dojo cancels a paid cohort and cannot provide a reasonable replacement or rescheduled option, affected students will receive a full refund of the tuition paid.
